Perhaps experience the great highlight of the winter, the VM i Skreifiske, which is held every year on the last weekend in March.

Fast Hotel Svolvær is situated near the main entrance of Lofoten Culture Centre, the Hurtigrute docks, the bus station, the taxi rank and the much visited Lofoten War Memorial Museum. It is a mere 100 metres to Svolvær town square.
The square is surrounded by good restaurants, such as Nordis Restaurant Svolvær, where you will be served good food and drink from a varied menu with classic dishes, Italian pizza, burgers and sushi.
